No doubt, a Zanzibar trip is almost in everyones bucket list.
The thought of Zanzibar screams, I have to be there! I have to do that! not later but at the earliest possible call and at the next possible chance. The year is here and 2024 might be the year to drop your bench-pressing and backseat habit. Traveling needs you on your best lunge taking situations by the jugular. Retrospectively, Zanzibar always seems a bit too far-fetched on that early call but we got things figured out.
YES! we’re ready to take on the year as a travel juggernaut.
We might have seen Zanzibar and heard so much about her exploits but that might not be the best way to forge a story around her. We need to go see her, feel her and enjoy those polished mixed layers of flavour and texture, even better, capture her and bring her home for framing.
Tip; If you’re signing up, remember to free up your gallery as you walk into a photographers paradise in Zanzibar.
The group tour is promising a fun-filled affair and ZANZIBAR being ZANZIBAR, it certainly won’t fall short as it reels in stuff like;
Dolphin tour, Sunset Cruise, Prison Island, Spice Farm, Turtle aquariums, Kilosa conservancy, Maalum Cave, Night life, Turquoise blue waters, food markets like forodhani, Kendwa rocks, beach lunches, sandbanks, horse rides to the sandbanks, transparent kayak, the ocean eye and the heavenly dreamy beaches among many things.
N/B we will only execute select activities as per the itinerary.
Quite clearly the island Zanzibar is beckoning and it’s silent whispers are deafening, it’s only fair if you come aboard and let’s honor her with our pleasurable presence.
The F7 Travel Club will be hosting this trip with very limited slots up for grabs. All select activities will be executed thoughtfully with a guided itinerary that encompasses a detailed day to day travel schedule.

Day 1
Journey to Dar es Salaam.
Spend the night in a Dar es Salaam hotel upon arrival.
Day 2
A morning taxi excursion in Dar es Salaam before journeying to Stone town in Zanzibar.
We will catch the noon ferry to Zanzibar where the group eventually checks inn, freshens up and spends the evening buzzing from the Zanzibar tingle of anticipation (First night at the airbnb in Stone Town).
Day 3
Spice Tour, Prison Island and Stone Town Tour
Take a boat to the famous Prison island and later indulge in the inevitable spice tour. There’s a flurry of spice flavours to gain an understanding of as we crank up the gears engaging Stone Town from every angle. (This will be our second night at Stone Town)
Day 4
Kilosa conservation, Turtles swim, Dhow Cruise at Nungwi
Head to Nungwi for the ultimate experience. Check-inn, visit Kilosa conservation, Swim with the turtles, free afternoon at Nungwi beach and later take a dhow cruise for that sundowner. (This will be our first night in the airbnb in Nungwi).
Day 5
Maalum Cave Swim
A morning Zanzibar hidden gem excursion at the Maalum cave before exploring the beach in Paje. Thereafter return to Kendwa with pure anticipation for a fullmoon Kendwa rocks night-life experience. (Second night in our accommodation in Nungwi).
Day 6
Indulging in the Turquoise blue waters of Nungwi
Free day swimming at the turquoise blue waters of Nungwi. This will be a purely relaxing day as we meddle in the affairs of Zanzibar. Remember to carry an adventurous spirit as you take up and enjoy every ounce of Zanzibars most beautiful dreamy beach. (Third Night in our accommodation in Nungwi).
Day 7
Outbound
Journey back to Nairobi

KEY THINGS TO NOTE
- The total cost per person is $ 950 USD
- Slots are reserved by making a $ 150 USD deposit (Email; info@ficient7.com) to reserve a slot and request for the payment details
- Balance should be cleared a week to the travel date with bit payments spread across or a convenient full payment
- The basic requirements needed for travel before you cross borders will be sent on a WhatsApp group upon signing up
- Accommodation is based on twin bed basis (You’ll have a roommate but separate beds).
If you prefer a separate room you'll have to top an extra amount based on the rates

- Turtle swim in the Baraka Aquarium

DOES NOT COVER
- Local or international flights
- Full moon entry fee at Kendwa rocks
- Visas for Non East African residents and other document fees needed for clearance
- Meals (This is basically to allow more room for an individual to try out different meals from the many Zanzibar cuisines)
Worry not, as a group it'll be quite easy to manoeuvre as most past travellers recommend walk-ins and mama ntilie's that are budget friendly. You'll be guided on a reasonable amount to carry.
Our policies on reservation
- The reservation deposit is non-refundable for this kind of trip 48hrs after committing
- We request that you find a replacement if you’re unable to travel by any chance
- Deposits made excluding the reservation deposit will be useful on a future trip on instances where you couldn’t travel and failed to find a replacement
- Late date cancellations are non-refundable as it proves problematic to the team plan. Also, most reservations will have been made by then
- We do not provide anything beyond the planning and the success of the trip
